Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
1. Overview. This policy explains how Vectorworks Media, Inc. ("we," "us"), doing business as Ann McDonald, Designed Daily® and our other brands (listed in our Terms of Service), handles your information on annmcdonald.live and in our events, programs, emails and texts. We never sell your text-message opt-in, your contact details or your purchase history. We share limited ad-measurement data with Meta, which California law may call "sharing"; you can opt out anytime (section 7). We serve the United States and don't target the EU or UK.
2. What we collect (in the categories California law uses):

Live sessions are recorded; we say so at registration and when a session begins. Please don't share financial account numbers or other sensitive details in a session chat.
3. How we use it. To deliver what you asked for (event links, reminders, program access, any bonus gift); to run and improve our programs; to send emails and texts you agreed to; to measure which ads bring visitors and buyers; to prevent fraud; and to meet legal obligations. We don't use your quiz answers or purchase details to build ad audiences.
4. Who helps us (each uses your information only to provide its service to us):
- Stripe: payments.
- ActiveCampaign: email and our contact list.
- Twilio: delivery of text messages.
- Zoom: live sessions, registration and recordings.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram): ad measurement through the Meta Pixel.
- The retailer that ships a bonus gift, when we send one: your name and mailing address.
We may also share information when the law requires it, or with a buyer of our business if it's ever sold.
5. Text messages (SMS). When you enter your mobile number and tick the text box, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from the Ann McDonald | Designed Daily® number (Vectorworks Media, Inc.) at the number you gave: event reminders and join links, program welcome and session-day reminders, and occasional offers. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies. Typical frequency: a few texts around each free event you register for, a welcome text when you join a program, and about one text each session day while a program runs (for Money Frequency, one each session Wednesday). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, START to resubscribe and HELP for help, or email ann@annmcdonald.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services. This policy is linked from every form where you can opt in to texts.
6. Emails, cookies and similar technologies. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link; program emails (your access code, session links) continue while you're a member. On the site we use:

To turn advertising cookies off, use "Your Privacy Choices" in the footer of our pages (or the button at the top of this policy), enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, or block cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of interest-based ads through aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org.
7. Your California privacy rights. We give these rights to everyone in the United States, wherever you live. You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it or delete it;
- stop selling or sharing it (we don't sell it; to stop the Meta ad sharing, use "Your Privacy Choices," our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link);
- limit the use of sensitive information (we don't collect sensitive personal information as California defines it).
We honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, the Meta Pixel won't load for you. To make a request, email ann@annmcdonald.com with "Privacy request" in the subject. We'll verify your identity by confirming from the email address we have on file, and respond within 45 days (or tell you if we need another 45). You may use an authorized agent with your written permission. We'll never treat you differently for using these rights. If you live in another state with a privacy law (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah or Virginia), you have similar rights, including the right to appeal if we decline a request: reply to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject.
8. How long we keep it. Contact and purchase records: while you're on our list or a member, then as long as tax and accounting law requires. Records of your text and email consent: at least 5 years, to show we had your permission. Recordings: for the life of the program, as described on its sales page.
9. Children. Our site and programs are for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
10. Security. We use established providers, encrypted connections and limited access to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure.
11. Changes. We'll post updates here with a new effective date and email you about significant changes.
